October Nor’easter

Fall nor’easters are not unusual. But one in October that brings snow to NJ is hardly ordinary. At a little over a foot-and-a-half, New Milford has the dubious distinction of getting the highest accumulation.

Being much further south, we got lucky and had only about an inch or so. Though it was water-logged snow, no trees or branches came down, and we never lost power. A township plow did come around to clear the road. We let the sun do its work clearing our driveway.
