DOMA may be dead, but the fight for marriage equality for gays is far from over. According to this article in the Washington Post, New Jersey is the next big battleground. The legislature, controlled by the Democrats, passed a same-sex marriage bill last fall, but Gov. Christie, who supports civil unions for gays but not marriage, vetoed it. He is up for re-election in November, and his opponent, Democratic State Senator Barbara Buono is now making this a campaign issue.
