JFK Reading The Declaration of Independence

When I was listening to WQXR this morning, the host played a snippet of JFK reading the Declaration of Independence. I had no idea that JFK had done that, so I Googled to find the whole thing and also learned how it happened. On July 4, 1957, then Senator John F. Kennedy actually came to QXR’s studio to read it.  QXR has the recording on their website along with information about what music followed his reading. Of course, it’s on YouTube.  I think he did an impressive job.
