While that was happening, one of the workers replaced some siding.

Next major job, a new roof for the entire house. (Note: We had put on a new roof just two years before; however, those roofing shingles were no longer available. Ergo, a new garage roof would not match the rest of the house. So, our insurance company agreed to cover a whole new roof.)

As there was now new plywood on the garage roof, they put the tarp back temporarily until they were ready to install the shingles.  They draped the front of the house to protect the shrubbery while the roof shingles from the second story were removed.
