Figuring out the rebus came easily to me since it was the only way to make the answer to 15-Down fit.

Note: The day before this puzzle appeared, Sid Caesar, one of the many comedians who appeared in “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World,” died at age 91.
