We woke up yesterday morning to find that about an inch-and-a-half of snow had fallen during the night. The prediction had been for this storm (Number 5 for us, 6 for others) to just “kiss” our area as it made its way towards Boston via the eastern end of Long Island. So, what we ended up with was just a bit of a nuisance.
Michael cleared the top layer of fluffy snow from the driveway.
The sun quickly took care of melting the icy remains.
But guess what?! Futurecast showed yet another storm heading in our direction tomorrow!
However, it also indicated that our area of NJ might end up with a small amount of snow then change to rain as the temperature rises to above freezing.
Then, at last, a warming trend.
